Gardening for Schools – Visit to Bessbrook Primary School & Nursery Unit
We recently had the pleasure of visiting Bessbrook Primary School & Nursery Unit, where pupils from P2 to P6 took part in a fun and engaging planting session with gardening educator Kieran Gallagher as part of their ongoing Eco-Schools work. The children explored seasonal planting, learned how to care for young flowers, and enthusiastically got their hands dirty creating their very own pots to bring home. Their excitement and hard work were clear to see, and the beautiful pots they produced are a wonderful reflection of their creativity and growing confidence in sustainability and outdoor learning.
