Gardening for Schools – St Louis Ailm & LSC Outdoor Classroom Transformation
We were incredibly proud to support the green-fingered gardeners of St Louis Ailm and the LSC groups as they transformed a once-barren patch of ground into a vibrant and inspiring outdoor classroom. Using almost entirely recycled materials—including old fences, pallets, furniture and tree chippings—the pupils worked creatively and sustainably to build a welcoming space for learning. With teamwork, a splash of paint and a keen eye for design, the garden quickly evolved into a calm, sensory-rich environment featuring pollinator-friendly plants and textures to enhance wellbeing. Their dedication and innovation have now been recognised with a Level 4 RHS School Gardening Award, a fantastic achievement that reflects the hard work and passion of everyone involved.
