Presentation Primary Portadown – Growing Together
The P1 and P7 pupils at Presentation Primary Portadown enjoyed a fantastic hands-on gardening day, planting a wide selection of vegetables and herbs. Using recycled materials such as raised beds, containers, and old tyres, the children—supported by the school’s head cook—worked together to create sustainable and vibrant growing spaces. Their enthusiasm, teamwork and creativity were evident throughout the project, making it an enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone involved. Well done to all the budding gardeners at Presentation Portadown!

Harvesting Day – Presentation Portadown
We were delighted to see the pupils of Presentation Portadown proudly harvesting the vegetables and herbs they have been growing throughout the term. Their hard work in the garden has truly paid off, with fresh produce now being brought directly into the school canteen for use in meals. This hands-on experience not only teaches pupils where their food comes from, but also encourages healthy eating, sustainability, and pride in the fruits of their own labour. A fantastic achievement for all involved!
