St Brigid’s Primary School, Drumilly – Planting with Gardening for Schools
We were delighted to visit St Brigid’s Primary School, Drumilly, where Primary 4 and 5 pupils enjoyed a fantastic hands-on gardening session with Kieran Gallagher from #GallagherGardening. The children learned about the vital role bees play as pollinators in supporting plant growth and food production, deepening their understanding of nature and sustainability. They then put their knowledge into practice by creating beautiful pots filled with hardy, colourful winter plants. Kieran shared plenty of practical tips, and the pupils thoroughly enjoyed learning how to care for their new plants going forward. A wonderful day of outdoor learning and creativity!
